CHAPTER ONE!
❥ Obviously owns a car. I'm going to assume it's going with canon and that it's secondhand and probably a tad bit scuffed up. Possibly an 80s model based on the time period this is set in. Maybe 70s.
❥ Immediately picks up on Natalia.
❥ His office is on the 4th floor.
❥ Toris works in a corner office.
❥ His computer is slow.
❥ First sale was to Allen Law Firm.
❥ Extremely naive and it already shows. I really like how Feliks goes from like...normal celebretory things to date night stuff. And Toris is totally okay with it...
❥ ...until Feliks opens his mouth and the word "date" comes out.

CHAPTER TWO!
❥ I really question this author's opinion of Feliks throughout this thing if she makes him ask a guy out immediately after meeting him. Not to mention the depth of his and Elizabeta's conversation two days later.
❥ The vending machine sells Doritos.
❥ Feliks has already established his own view on Toris' type. This leads me to believe even more that his being enamoured with Toris is highly in his head and how he perceives him to be based off of his initial average, nice guy disposition.
❥ It's telling that the only thing Toris' dialogue can thing about Katyusha is "large-breasted".
❥ Toris is extremely awkward. What else is new.
❥ Elizabeta's boyfriend works in the Albany branch, has been there longer than two years. His name is Roderich. At this point, the manager of the Albany branch can be assumed to be Gilbert.
❥ Location is revealed to be in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Never stated in the text before. I have to wonder if Alfred and Co. have New English accents.
❥ Toris is from Philadelphia. Moved because of college, putting him to be anywhere from 20-24. Used to work at Staples, so he has to know a decent bit about office supplies. Good credential for working at Herozone.
❥ Some kind of law in the state forbids the buying of alcoholic beverages?? Look into this.
❥ Toris is in no way better than Feliks, asking Ivan if his sister is single...
❥ Lizzie did exactly the opposite of what she told Feliks she'd do.

❥ Toris is worse than Feliks because at least Feliks likes dumb boring guys while Toris likes raging psychopaths.
❥ Toris has the money and stupidity to spend on two dozen roses for someone he's known less than a month.
❥ About a month has passed, give or take.
❥ Feliks was once involved with a boy when he was eight, and it didn't end well.
❥ Toris is jaded enough to think that getting Ivan to take him and Natalia places constitutes being in a relationship. And he also thinks that 14 = 20. This contradicts the "few weeks ago" Feliks dictates in his internal dialogue.
❥ Feliks genuinely cares for Toris. It's actually kind of sad how he actually knows him pretty well and feels so much for him.

❥ Everyone kind of notices Ivan's weird thing for Toris and how it's really a No Bueno thing.
❥ Toris is obviously down already and possibly both because of Natalia and Feliks' obvious thing for him.
❥ Not really important, but Alfred ships Raivis and Eduard and it's cute.
❥ Toris and Feliks drive to the Paul Revere Magnet School in Medford, MA. That takes 13 minutes going North on an Intercontinental Highway.
❥ The extreme situations that have been presented to Toris still leave him loving Natalia at this point, which is good, though his forwardness with her is a little more off-base.
❥ Toris also seems to not feel well in this stressful situation, which should have been played on more in the following chapters, but it's good to know she at least had it in mind. Or maybe it was unintentional. Who knows.
❥ I also really like how it keeps Eduard and Raivis' relationships fluid. Their dislike of Ivan is obvious, but the whole Jealous-Of-Toris-Hanging-Out-With-Feliks-More-Than-Us thing is still there. I'd really like to see some relations between Eduard/Raivis and Feliks though. They'd have to be on some terms since they share an office.
❥ Raivis was the previous receptionist before being bumped up to sales and replaced by Natalia.
❥ Feliks' shyness was kept, a really good thing.
❥ I really doubt that in Normal Canon, he'd be too apt to letting anyone see him cry, but that's just me...apparently he'll cry in front of Feliks though.
❥ They both have some really bad attachment issues.
❥ Feliks realizes Toris' flaws where he can't. Probably because he's in love with him.
❥ Feliks also realizes that it's wrong to want to see Toris break up with Natalia and he doesn't really want to see him hurting, so his comforting just kind of makes him feel worse.
❥ He's had multiple break-ups in the past. Feliks' past relationships have never been explored, while we know Toris'.

CHAPTER FIVE!

Like he's more so adverse to danger than just meeting someone new. I doubt he'd make the best salesman, but he'd still be nice while being a little nervous about it. Toris in this verse is quite a bumbler, albeit it was his first sales call.
❥ Feliks, poor shy Feliks, has to step in for him, giving him quite a rousing speech. I'm on the fence about how IC I find this in Normal Canon, since there were a lot of canon instances with the opposite happening, except where Russia was concerned.
❥ I will say that the way Feliks sucked it up in the face of a situation that was adverse to him was a nice way to portray his ability to be serious and deal when he needs to. They even threw in his charm at the very end of the scene which was well done.
❥ Feliks eats strawberry ice cream. Toris eats a chocolate covered waffle cone.
❥ Toris isn't too innately bothered by the fact that his male friend is wiping his face off and being extremely flirty.
❥ Everyone ships them. It's kind of The Best.
❥ Whatever happened in the supposed 15-20 minutes on the road made Toris and Feliks bosom buddies. Pretty sure this is where the whole Bisexual thing originated from since Toris got all Homosexual at the ice cream place.
❥ Toris is a nervous wreck when it comes to people which I personally don't see too much in canon, as he's more concerned about situations over people. ❥ "I'm not gay or bi...At least, I don't think I am." You can now skip the next 4 chapters.
❥ Toris has only had sex once, it was a one-night stand and it was in college. He's not really interested in sex. At least, not until recently.
